Faith, joy, and hope filled the atmosphere at Seeta Junior School Mbalala, Mukono, as 204 Primary Seven pupils gathered for a Dedication Holy Mass ahead of their forthcoming national examinations — a milestone marking their transition to higher levels of education.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Mark Duggan Mulyanti from Iganga Parish, and attended by teachers, parents, and members of the school community united in faith and thanksgiving.

Among the proud parents present was Hon. Kiisa, Member of Parliament for Luuka South, who joined fellow parents in leading prayers and encouraging the candidates to trust God and remain focused.

In his uplifting homily, Fr. Duggan Mulyanti reminded the pupils that while they have studied hard, their teachers have guided them, and their parents have sacrificed greatly, true success comes from faith and humility:

“You have read your books, your parents have paid the fees, and your teachers have done their part — but above all, trust in God, for He crowns every effort with victory.”

He further urged pupils to seek forgiveness from their parents, emphasizing that obedience and a clean heart attract lasting blessings:

“If you want to see victory always in life, ask for forgiveness from your parents and live in peace with them,” Fr. Mulyanti advised.

Adding to the spiritual tone of the day was a powerful message boldly displayed at the school:

“Our dear Candidates 2025, the Game Changer has given you victory.”

This declaration perfectly captured the faith-driven atmosphere — a reminder that with prayer, discipline, and parental blessings, success is already assured.

After the Mass, the pupils expressed their joy and gratitude to the school leadership and their parents for the continuous support and guidance.

“This Mass has given me courage and peace. I know with God on my side, I will pass with flying colors,” said Namuganza Maria, one of the candidates.

“I thank our teachers and parents for supporting us, and Father Duggan for reminding us to forgive and trust in God. I believe our victory is already here,” added Kato Samuel, another candidate.

The pupils also praised their Headteacher, Rev. Sr. Cripina Namara, for her great leadership, discipline, and care, saying her guidance has prepared them both academically and spiritually for success.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Headteacher, Mr. Paddy Kyazze, reaffirmed the school’s confidence in the candidates’ readiness, noting that this year’s group is determined and well-prepared:

“Our candidates are ready. We are confident that all of them will pass in First Grade — they have worked hard, and God is on their side,” he affirmed.

The dedication Mass once again highlighted Seeta Junior School’s commitment to nurturing excellence founded on moral and spiritual values. Under the visionary leadership of Owek. Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo, Seeta Schools continue to raise top-performing, God-fearing, and responsible citizens across Uganda.

As the 204 candidates prepare for their Primary Leaving Examinations, Seeta Junior School sends them forth with faith and confidence:

“Victory is already yours — study hard, pray faithfully, honor your parents, and let God lead the way.” 🙏✨
