A deeply spiritual atmosphere filled Seeta High A Campus in Mukono as 296 Senior Six candidates were dedicated to God during a solemn Dedication Mass led by Fr. Herman Mukasa Ziiwa, who urged them to trust in God and use their upcoming holiday wisely after final exams.

The Mass, characterized by inspiring hymns from the school choir, brought together parents, teachers, and students to pray for the candidates sitting for the UACE examinations. Fr. Ziiwa, assisted by Fr. Ntege, the Chaplain of Seeta Schools, led the prayers of dedication and blessing.

During the service, parents lovingly placed their hands on their children as Fr. Ziiwa sprinkled them with holy water, symbolizing divine protection and success.

“Go with faith and confidence,” Fr. Ziiwa told the students. “Let God be your guide in the examination rooms and in life beyond. Discipline, prayer, and hard work will open every door for you.”

After the Mass, students, parents, and teachers exchanged gifts led by Head Teacher Mr. Songha Ramanthan, who applauded the Parents’ Committee for their dedication and teamwork throughout the academic year.

Despite light rain, the students celebrated joyfully, singing and dancing as they marked this milestone together with their teachers and families.

In his message, Fr. Ziiwa also advised candidates to spend their post-exam holiday meaningfully once their studies are done.

“Don’t waste your long vacation. Find something that builds you — whether learning a skill, serving others, or deepening your faith. Every season is a chance to grow,” he said.

Head Teacher Mr. Songha Ramanthan used the occasion to thank the founders of Seeta Schools — Hon. Dr. John Chrysostom Muyingo, Minister of State for Higher Education, and Mrs. Rose Muyingo — for their unmatched commitment to transforming education in Uganda.

“Our founders built Seeta Schools on a foundation of faith, discipline, and excellence,” Mr. Songha said. “That is why Seeta continues to shine as one of Uganda’s leading academic institutions, producing learners who excel in books and in life.”

He further encouraged parents to consider enrolling their children at Seeta University, where the same Seeta spirit of excellence and moral guidance continues to thrive.

Mr. Namwaano Isaac, the Senior Six class teacher, commended the candidates for their strong preparation, discipline, and teamwork, saying they are ready to make the school proud.

Some students expressed confidence and gratitude, promising to represent Seeta High A Campus honorably in the national exams.

“We’re ready, and we thank God, our teachers, and our parents for preparing us well,” said one student.

For years, Seeta High Schools have remained a symbol of academic and moral supremacy in Uganda — producing outstanding students, responsible citizens, and leaders of character under the visionary leadership of Hon. Dr. JC Muyingo and Mrs. Rose Muyingo.

“At Seeta, we don’t just teach — we build a generation of achievers anchored in excellence, faith, and purpose.”
