BBALE, KAYUNGA — The Electoral Commission has officially nominated Hon. Charles Tebandeke, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Bbaale Constituency, to contest once again on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket. The nomination took place yesterday at Kayunga electro commission offices , attracting massive crowds of supporters who expressed confidence that their MP will secure a 95% victory in the coming elections.
Hon. Tebandeke’s nomination marks another chapter in his strong and people-centered leadership. Since being elected, he has been a visible and active servant leader, deeply engaged in improving the lives of his constituents across all sectors.

He has empowered women through SACCOs, ensured that every parish in Bbaale owns a community tent, and personally purchased an ambulance that continues to save lives in this remote area. His continuous presence and hands-on leadership have kept him connected to the people who first entrusted him with their votes.
In Parliament, Hon. Tebandeke is recognized among the most vocal and influential MPs, constantly standing up for the needs of his people. He has championed land rights, defended fishermen’s livelihoods, and spoken on key national issues both on the floor of Parliament and across radio and TV platforms, earning him respect as a true representative of the people.

He has also been instrumental in uniting communities of diverse backgrounds, strengthening religious institutions, and empowering the youth through various initiatives aimed at self-reliance and social development.
One of his remarkable achievements is his relentless advocacy that led to the construction of the Kayunga–Lake Kyoga Road. The project was commissioned by President Museveni, and by the time of Hon. Tebandeke’s nomination, machines were already on the ground — a clear testament to his results-oriented leadership in Parliament that ensured Bbaale was included in the national development budget.

With a proven record of delivery, commitment, and unity, Hon. Charles Tebandeke stands as the strongest contender in the race. His opponents, some of whom failed to secure nomination due to incomplete documents, are seen as too weak to challenge his overwhelming popularity.

As the campaign season begins, the people of Bbaale are standing firm behind their trusted leader — Hon. Charles Tebandeke, the man they believe will once again bring victory home.
