The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) headquarters in Kyambogo was filled with an atmosphere of gratitude, faith and unity as Sironko District Woman MP Hon. Mafabi Asha Nabulo joined Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Head of ONC and Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, alongside other distinguished leaders and faithful, for a special interfaith thanksgiving prayer service in honour of First Lady Maama Janet Kataaha Museveni.

 

The gathering brought together religious leaders, political leaders, Bazzukulu and well-wishers from different walks of life to thank God for the First Lady’s good health, strength and unwavering commitment to serving Uganda. Prayers and messages of encouragement highlighted Maama Janet’s dedication to education, family values, youth empowerment and national development.

 

 

Hon. Asha Nabulo praised the First Lady for her exemplary leadership and motherly guidance, noting that her life of humility, faith and service continues to inspire millions of Ugandans, especially women and young people. She also commended Hajjat Namyalo and the ONC fraternity for organizing an event that united people beyond religion, tribe and political affiliation in a common spirit of thanksgiving.

 

Hajjat Namyalo called upon Ugandans to remain grateful to God, uphold unity and continue supporting leaders who work tirelessly for the country's progress. She emphasized that prayer remains a powerful tool for strengthening families, communities and the nation.

 

The interfaith thanksgiving prayers was led by the Man of God pastor Aloysius Bujingo who preached values of faith, respect and togetherness, demonstrating that when leaders and citizens unite in gratitude, they build a stronger and more harmonious nation.
