Mawokota South MP, Yusuf Nsibambi, has delivered a striking revelation about the challenges he has faced while serving in Parliament, hinting at a potential decision to step down.

Speaking candidly, MP Nsibambi described his time in Parliament as the most challenging period of his career, even though he has held several prominent positions in the banking and legal sectors.

"I have worked in a bank for quite some time and managed a group of companies from the age of 24. I have taught law for over 27 years and been in private practice for over 30 years. But I have never worked in a more difficult and challenging institution than Parliament. I have never," MP Nsibambi stated.

The MP explained that the demands of parliamentary work had taken a toll on his health. When he joined Parliament, MP Nsibambi weighed 81 kilograms and was in perfect health.

However, in just six months, he has seen a drastic decline in his weight, dropping to 64 kilograms, a sign of the immense pressure he has faced.

MP Nsibambi's remarks revealed the physical and mental toll that political life can have on public servants, particularly those who are deeply committed to their responsibilities.
