Seeta Junior School – Nabuti Campus in Mukono once again demonstrated its commitment to holistic child development during its vibrant annual sports gala, an event that brought together pupils, parents, teachers, and distinguished guests in a celebration of talent, teamwork, and discipline.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Steven Ndegeya, applauded the school for prioritizing co-curricular activities, emphasizing that nurturing children’s talents is just as important as academic excellence. He encouraged parents across the country to actively support and invest in their children’s abilities, noting that exposure through sports and play builds confidence, creativity, and resilience among learners.

“Every child has a unique gift,” Mr. Ndegeya noted. “It is through such platforms that these talents are discovered, nurtured, and given the opportunity to shine.”
The colorful event, held at the Seeta University playground, featured a wide range of engaging activities including sprint races, balloon games, water-filling competitions, and other fun challenges designed to promote teamwork and physical fitness. Pupils competed under four houses — Spartan, Olympians, Avengers, and Vikings — each displaying remarkable enthusiasm and sportsmanship.

Parents and teachers actively participated in the day’s activities, further strengthening the bond between the school and the community, and creating a supportive environment for the learners.
In a thrilling conclusion, Spartan House emerged the overall winner, outperforming Vikings by 187 points. Vikings secured second place, followed by Avengers, while Olympians came fourth. The winning team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize in recognition of their outstanding performance and teamwork.
The Headteacher, Mr. Bryan Serugo, emphasized that Seeta Junior School is dedicated to nurturing well-rounded individuals. He highlighted that education at the school goes beyond the classroom, focusing equally on talent identification and personal development.

“At Seeta Junior School, we believe every child should be given the opportunity to explore their full potential,” Mr. Serugo said. “Our goal is not only to produce academically excellent pupils but also confident, skilled, and responsible individuals ready to face the future.”
He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to parents for their overwhelming support and participation, noting that their involvement plays a crucial role in the success and growth of the learners.

Meanwhile, the Academic Registrar of Seeta University, Mr. Ronald Mbago, commended the school for choosing to host the event at the university grounds and for its continued dedication to quality education. He encouraged pupils and parents to aspire for excellence and consider Seeta institutions as a pathway to academic and personal success.
“We are proud to associate with institutions that prioritize both academic and co-curricular excellence,” Mr. Mbago stated. “We welcome young learners with ambition and determination to grow within our system.”
The event was further graced by celebrated sports personality Golola, whose presence added excitement and inspiration to the young learners.

Seeta Junior School continues to thrive under the visionary leadership of its directors, led by Hon.
