Mukono, Uganda — A joyful celebration filled with music, culture, and thanksgiving marked the graduation of 228 Top Class pupils from the three Seeta Schools branches: Seeta Kindergarten & Junior School Ntinda, Seeta Junior School Nabuti, and Seeta Junior School Mbalala. The ceremony took place at Seeta University in Mukono District.
The event opened with a mass led by Rev. Fr. Duggan Mulyanti from Jinja Diocese, supported by the Catholic Chaplain of Seeta Schools. Parents, teachers, school administrators, and members of the Board of Governors attended the celebration.
The ceremony was also attended by State Minister for Higher Education, Dr. J.C. Muyingo, who participated in his role as a director within the Seeta Schools leadership.
In his homily, Fr. Mulyanti praised Seeta Schools for consistently giving thanks to God for the blessings upon the institutions, including Seeta University. He commended the teachers for instilling confidence, strong communication skills, and academic excellence in the pupils.
During the mass, administrators of Seeta Junior Schools offered both monetary and material gifts in appreciation of the school’s journey and achievements.
After the mass, pupils thrilled the audience with performances of the school anthem, cultural dances, creative acts, and Christmas-themed songs. Their confidence and talent left parents and guests impressed.
The highlight of the day was the official graduation of the 228 pupils, confirming that they are ready to join Primary One. The children also expressed gratitude to teachers, parents, and school leaders who have supported them throughout their nursery education.
A standout moment included a symbolic presentation of a child “boarding an airplane,” capturing the school’s philosophy that at Seeta Junior Schools, “children turn airplanes into bicycles”—a celebration of creativity, imagination, and limitless potential.
Branch heads of Seeta Schools—Sister Crispin Namara, Lazarus Olupot, and Serugo Brian—thanked parents for entrusting them with their children’s early learning.
Speaking on behalf of the parents, David Kusiima commended the school’s strong standards and holistic approach to education. Seeta University Administrator Ronald Mbago announced upcoming digital technology training for S6 vacationers and encouraged parents to consider enrolling their children.

Mrs. Juliet Namuddu, a parent from Seeta Junior School Nabuti, said:
“My daughter joined without knowing how to write even her own name. Today she can read, speak confidently, and express herself in ways I never imagined. I am extremely proud of what Seeta Schools have done for her.”
Mr. Patrick Musisi, a parent from Seeta Kindergarten & Junior School Ntinda, added:
“When my son came here, he was shy and barely spoke. The teachers have shaped him into a bold, smart, and disciplined child. I am grateful to the school for changing his life and building his foundation.”
The colorful celebration concluded with the cutting of a cake, marking a memorable end to the academic year and a promising start to the pupils’ journey into primary education.
