Alex Ndeezi (Persons With Disabilities Rep.) has punched holes in the recent census data released by Uganda Bureau of Statistics that showed that the population of people living with disabilities in Uganda dropped from 6.4 Million people captured in 2014 census, and that Uganda now only has 3 million people with disabilities.

His concern prompted Minister of Finance, who supervises UBOS to call for calm amongst MPs to allow Government make a statement next week, explaining what led to the release of the chaotic data by @StatisticsUg .

Minister Kasaija said, “We are preparing a statement, next week, we will be here with that statement, so that we give you full facts. I beg your indulgence, next we shall come here with a statement to tell you, what happened.”
