In a significant political development, Uganda's Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, has expressed her intention to run for re-election as Woman Member of Parliament for Kakumiro District.

 This evening, she picked up nomination forms from the NRM Electoral Commission headquarters at Kyadondo, marking a crucial step in her bid.

 

A Leader with a Track Record

Prime Minister Nabbanja's leadership has been characterized by hard work and effective service delivery, values she believes have earned her the support of her constituents. "My leadership as Woman MP has over the years been premised on hard work & effective service delivery," she stated, appealing to the people of Kakumiro to support her in the upcoming elections.

 

Commitment to Democracy

Nabbanja praised President Yoweri Museveni for championing democracy, allowing Ugandans to vote for their leaders in a free and fair arrangement. Her commitment to democratic principles is evident in her actions, including her recent decision to pull out a candidate in Kakumiro District NRM polls, demonstrating her dedication to party unity.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

As the current Prime Minister of Uganda, Nabbanja brings extensive experience in leadership and governance. She has served as State Minister of Health for General Duties and has been a Member of Parliament for Kakumiro District since 2016. Her educational background includes a Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Nkumba University.

A Message to Constituents

Nabbanja expressed her determination to continue serving her people, stating, "I'm still strong and I want to serve my people. Kakumiro, you have seen what I can do, and I believe you're going to add me your support." She thanked Dr. Tanga Odoi, Chairman of the NRM Electoral Commission, for the seamless process.

 

With her experience and commitment to public service, Prime Minister Nabbanja is poised for a strong showing in the upcoming elections.
