Faith, joy, and determination filled the atmosphere at Seeta Junior School Ntinda Campus as Primary Seven candidates gathered for a Dedication Holy Mass ahead of their national examinations — a key moment marking their transition from primary to higher education.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Anthony Ezenekwe, a Nigerian priest serving at Namugongo Shrine, who delivered a powerful sermon calling upon pupils to keep their faith firm in God and remain obedient to their parents and teachers.

In his message, Fr. Ezenekwe encouraged the candidates to stay focused and prayerful, reminding them that hard work without faith is incomplete:

“You have prepared well, you have been taught well — but above all, trust God, for it is He who turns your effort into success,” he said.

The event brought together parents, teachers, and headteachers from various Seeta Campuses who came to show solidarity and support for the candidates.

Among them were Mr. Sserugo Brian, Headteacher of Seeta Junior School Nabuti Campus, and Rev. Sr. Cripina Namara, Headteacher of Seeta Junior School Mbalala Campus, who both presented success cards from their own pupils, each filled with messages of faith and encouragement.

“May God crown your efforts with success — go shine for Seeta Schools!” wrote pupils from Nabuti Campus.

“We believe in you, dear friends from Ntinda — success is already yours!” shared pupils from Mbalala Campus.

The School Management Committee (SMC) was represented by Mrs. Lydia Lukwago Kagoya, who gave a heartfelt address to parents, urging them to actively guide their children both in academics and in cultural upbringing.

“Parents, teach your children to do homework when they come home. Guide them to respect elders and embrace our culture. Don’t let them spend the whole day watching TV while maids struggle,” she cautioned.

She further called on parents to continue supporting their children’s education beyond Primary Seven:

“P.7 is not the end. Please take them to higher institutions so that they can reach their dreams and become great citizens,” she emphasized.

The Headteacher, Mr. Olupot Lazarus, assured parents that the school is fully prepared for the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), expressing strong confidence in the pupils’ readiness:

“Our candidates are ready. We believe they will excel, and we are expecting at least four distinctions because they have done enough work and are focused,” he said.

The event was also graced by the Principal of Seeta High Schools, who thanked parents for their trust and reaffirmed Seeta’s commitment to raising responsible, value-driven citizens:

“We are grateful for your confidence in Seeta Schools. We shall continue to work tirelessly to make your children future leaders and responsible citizens,” he pledged.

The dedication ceremony once again reflected Seeta Schools’ strong foundation of academic excellence, discipline, and moral upbringing, built under the visionary leadership of Owek. Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo.

As the P.7 candidates of Seeta Junior School Ntinda Campus prepare for their final exams, the entire Seeta family stands behind them with faith, confidence, and pride:

“Success is already yours — work hard, trust in God, respect your parents, and hold on to your culture!”
