Minister Dr. J.C. Muyingo Visits Unwell Greater Luweero District Khadi Sheikh Badiru Kiza, Commends His Dedicated Service to the Muslim Community

 Nakaseke District: The Acting Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo, today paid a courtesy visit to the Greater Luweero District Khadi, Sheikh Badiru Kiza, at his home in Bukuuku Village, Kasangombe, Nakaseke District, where the respected religious leader is currently receiving treatment.  The visit was marked by warmth, compassion, and gratitude as Dr. Muyingo stood in solidarity with Sheikh Badiru Kiza and his family during this challenging period.Hon. Dr. Muyingo commended the District Khadi for his outstanding and dedicated service to the Muslim fraternity across Greater Luweero, describing him as a humble, selfless, and God-fearing leader whose guidance has positively impacted countless families and communities over the years. The Minister noted that religious leaders remain an important pillar in promoting peace, unity, moral values, and national development, adding that their lifelong service deserves recognition and appreciation while they are still alive.During the visit, Dr. Muyingo also applauded Sheikh Badiru Kiza for raising a family firmly grounded in religious values and the fear of Almighty God. He emphasized that strong families built on faith are essential in nurturing responsible citizens and preserving moral standards in society. “It is our responsibility to care for one another, especially our elders, parents, religious leaders, and all those who have dedicated their lives to serving humanity. Standing with them in difficult moments is a reflection of our shared values of love, compassion, and unity,” Hon. Dr. Muyingo said. The Acting Minister encouraged the family to remain hopeful, continue praying, and support one another as Sheikh Badiru Kiza undergoes treatment, expressing confidence that faith and collective encouragement strengthen people during difficult times.Speaking during the visit, Sheikh Badiru Kiza expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Rubirizi District Woman MP Jeniva Arinaitwe Nalongo Rallies Ugandans to Back NRM Candidates, Choose Transparent Local Leaders

 As Uganda prepares for the Village (LC I) and Women Council elections later this month, Rubirizi District Woman Member of Parliament Hon. Jeniva Arinaitwe Nalongo has urged Ugandans to elect leaders who are accessible, transparent and committed to serving their communities, while encouraging voters to overwhelmingly support candidates of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM).  Hon. Jeniva made the remarks shortly after Thursday’s plenary sitting of Parliament, where Members of Parliament extensively discussed issues surrounding the forthcoming Local Council elections and the need to ensure a peaceful, inclusive and credible electoral process.  The legislator emphasized that LC I leaders are the first point of contact between citizens and government, making the election one of the most important exercises in strengthening service delivery, security and community development.  She called upon voters to scrutinize candidates carefully and elect leaders who are available to the people, accountable in their decisions and capable of driving local development.“Ugandans should elect leaders who are accessible, transparent and committed to serving their communities. We also encourage wananchi to support NRM candidates because the party has consistently demonstrated its commitment to peace, stability and development,” Hon. Jeniva said.The first-term legislator further supported calls by several Members of Parliament for government to declare the LC I polling day a public holiday, arguing that doing so would enable all eligible Ugandans, including workers in both the public and private sectors, to participate fully in the democratic exercise.  According to her, voter participation is essential in strengthening grassroots democracy and ensuring that every community elects leaders who genuinely represent the people’s interests.Hon. Jeniva expressed confidence that the National Resistance Movement will perform strongly in the village elections, saying the party’s record in delivering infrastructure, education, healthcare, peace and wealth creation programmes continues to earn it widespread public support.  She noted that electing NRM leaders at the grassroots will further strengthen implementation of government programmes and improve coordination between local communities and national leadership.The Electoral Commission has scheduled Village Women Committee elections for 23 July 2026, while Village (LC I) Chairperson elections will be held on 28 July 2026. Campaigns for the LC I Chairperson elections will run from 20 to 27 July, while Village Women Committee campaigns will take place from 20 to 22 July. Voting will be conducted by lining up behind candidates, their representatives, portraits or symbols, as provided for under the relevant electoral laws.     The upcoming elections are expected to fill leadership positions in more than 71,000 villages across Uganda, with the elected leaders playing a central role in community mobilization, local governance, dispute resolution and implementation of government programmes at the grassroots.

Hon. David Lukyamuzi Kalwanga Elected to Pan-African Parliament

 Kampala, Uganda – Busujju County Member of Parliament, David Lukyamuzi Kalwanga, has been elected by the Parliament of Uganda to represent the country at the Pan-African Parliament.The election was conducted during Tuesday evening’s plenary sitting in accordance with Rule 14 and Appendix E of the Rules of Procedure of Parliament. Hon. Lukyamuzi was elected alongside Hon. Sarah Najjuma (Nakaseke District), Hon. Arinaitwe Rwakajara (Workers MP), Hon. Anthony Akol (Kilak North), and Hon. Patience Kinshaba (Kanungu District).  His election marks another significant milestone in his parliamentary service, entrusting him with the responsibility of representing Uganda’s interests at the continental legislative body while contributing to Africa’s integration and development agenda.  The Pan-African Parliament, an institution of the African Union, provides a platform for representatives from member states to deliberate on issues affecting the African continent. The Parliament promotes democratic governance, peace and security, human rights, regional integration, economic development, trade, education, health, environmental protection, and the implementation of African Union policies.  As a member of the Pan-African Parliament, Hon. David Lukyamuzi Kalwanga will participate in debates on continental legislation, contribute to policy discussions, strengthen cooperation among African nations, and advocate for Uganda’s priorities in areas including regional integration,  infrastructure development, trade, youth empowerment, agriculture, and sustainable development.His new role also offers an opportunity to foster stronger partnerships between Uganda and other African countries, share best legislative practices, and contribute to advancing the African Union’s vision of a prosperous, peaceful, and integrated continent. The election reflects Parliament’s confidence in Hon. Lukyamuzi’s leadership and ability to effectively represent Uganda on the continental stage, where he will work alongside legislators from across Africa to shape policies that promote the welfare and aspirations of African citizens.

Government Strengthens Competency-Based Learning as Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo Opens 5th National Agricultural Education Show

 JINJA, Uganda – The Government of Uganda has reaffirmed its commitment to transforming the country’s education system into a driver of innovation, skills development, employment and wealth creation, with a renewed focus on equipping young people to lead the modernization of agriculture.Speaking while officially opening the 5th National Agricultural Education Show at the Agricultural Show Grounds in Jinja on Tuesday, Acting Minister of Education and Sports, Hon. Dr. J.C. Muyingo, said the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Government continues to prioritize competency-based education to prepare learners with practical skills that directly respond to the country’s development needs. Held under the theme, “Youth-Driven Innovation: Shaping the Future of the Agricultural Industry,” the national exhibition brought together learners, teachers, institutions, innovators, government officials, development partners and stakeholders from across Uganda to showcase practical innovations in agriculture and technology. Hon. Dr. Muyingo commended the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, and the Uganda National Farmers Federation for organizing the exhibition, describing it as a clear demonstration of the successful implementation of Uganda’s Competency-Based Curriculum. He noted that learners across primary, secondary and tertiary institutions are increasingly applying classroom knowledge to solve real-life challenges through innovation, creativity and practical skills development. “The exhibition demonstrates that education in Uganda is no longer focused solely on what learners know, but on what they can do. Our learners are developing critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, digital literacy and innovation skills that are essential for the 21st-century economy,” Hon. Dr. Muyingo said. The Acting Minister emphasized that the agricultural education show directly supports the implementation of Uganda Vision 2040, the National Development Plan IV, the Education and Sports Sector Strategic Plan, the Competency-Based Curriculum reforms and the ongoing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) reforms aimed at producing a skilled and productive workforce.  He reaffirmed that agriculture remains central to Uganda’s socio-economic transformation and that the NRM Government is committed to transitioning the sector from subsistence farming to commercial and industrial agriculture through investment in education and skills development.  According to Hon. Dr. Muyingo, Government continues to strengthen agricultural training institutions by improving learning infrastructure, expanding access to modern equipment and promoting partnerships between education institutions, research organizations, industry and the private sector to ensure graduates acquire relevant competencies for national development. He further highlighted flagship government programmes such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and the Agro-Industrialisation Programme, saying they present enormous opportunities for young innovators and entrepreneurs to participate in transforming local economies.“Our responsibility as leaders is to ensure education equips learners with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes needed to seize these opportunities and contribute to Uganda’s economic transformation,” he said.  Hon. Dr. Muyingo urged schools, colleges, universities and vocational institutions to continue integrating innovation, digital technologies, climate-smart agriculture and agribusiness management into teaching and learning to prepare graduates for the evolving agricultural sector.He also applauded teachers and instructors for mentoring the next generation of scientists, innovators and entrepreneurs, noting that their contribution goes beyond classroom instruction to shaping Uganda’s future economic leaders.  Addressing students, the Minister encouraged them to embrace innovation, technology and entrepreneurship, urging them to create employment opportunities rather than waiting for jobs.“You are the future of Uganda’s agriculture. Continue experimenting, innovating and developing solutions that improve livelihoods while contributing to national development,” he said.  Hon. Dr. Muyingo further recognized the contribution of development partners, the private sector, research institutions and other organizations supporting agricultural education, saying their collaboration strengthens the link between education, research, innovation and industry.He reiterated Government’s commitment to building an education system that equips every Ugandan learner with practical competencies required for sustainable national development and global competitiveness.  On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uganda, Hon. St. John Paul II House Crowned Champions at St. Cyprian High School Kyabakadde Music, Dance and Drama Festival

 KYABAKADDE – St. Cyprian High School Kyabakadde celebrated Uganda’s rich cultural heritage and artistic talent during its 2026 Inter-House Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) Festival, with St. John Paul II House emerging overall champions after an impressive performance across various competition categories. Held under the theme “Echoes of Tradition, Beats of Today,” the festival brought together students, parents, invited guests and education stakeholders in a colourful showcase of culture, music, dance and drama.The day’s programme featured competitions in cultural dressing and background presentations, pop star performances, contemporary dance, folk dance and school choir, with all houses displaying remarkable creativity, discipline and teamwork. At the end of the competition, St. John Paul II House was crowned overall winner after collecting 366 points, while St. Matilda House finished second with 353 points, following closely after a spirited contest.The event was presided over by officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports, who served as the Guest of Honour and applauded the school for promoting co-curricular activities that nurture learners’ talents alongside academic excellence.Speaking at the event, Headteacher Mr. Joseph Kamya commended students, teachers, adjudicators and parents for making the festival a success. He noted that Music, Dance and Drama plays a vital role in preserving Uganda’s cultural identity while equipping learners with confidence, creativity, teamwork and leadership skills.Mr. Kamya encouraged students to continue embracing their talents, emphasizing that co-curricular activities complement classroom learning and prepare learners to become well-rounded citizens capable of contributing positively to society. The Guest of Honour praised St. Cyprian High School Kyabakadde for maintaining a strong culture of talent development and urged schools to continue investing in Music, Dance and Drama as an important component of Uganda’s competency-based education curriculum.The festival concluded with remarks from the adjudicators, the awarding of trophies and certificates to the outstanding performers and houses, and celebrations as St. John Paul II House lifted the coveted championship trophy. The annual Music, Dance and Drama Festival remains one of the school’s flagship co-curricular events, providing learners with an opportunity to showcase their abilities, appreciate Uganda’s diverse cultural heritage and strengthen unity among the school community.

THE MIGRANT WORKERS VOICE ORGANISATION CONDEMNS XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS ON FOREIGN NATIONALS IN SOUTH AFRICA

 4th July 2026The Migrant Workers Voice Organisation www.migrantworkersvoice.org strongly condemns the recent and ongoing xenophobic attacks, intimidation, discrimination, and vigilante violence directed at foreign nationals in South Africa. These attacks are unacceptable under any circumstances and represent a serious violation of human dignity, human rights, and the rule of law. While the organisation recognises that South Africa, like many countries, faces real social and economic pressures, those pressures can never justify lawlessness, hatred, or the targeting of migrants who are simply trying to survive, work, and contribute to society.  The right to peaceful protest does not include the right to assault, threaten, expel, or dehumanise foreign nationals (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026; Human Rights Watch, 2026).The organisation notes with grave concern that the pattern of xenophobic violence in South Africa has become increasingly alarming. Reports indicate that South Africa recorded 406 verified xenophobic incidents between 2022 and 2025, with 75 deaths linked to those incidents (IOL, 2026). In 2025 alone, 151 incidents were documented, and in the first five months of 2026, a further 22 incidents were recorded, including 14 violent attacks that followed anti-migrant protests in some areas (IOL, 2026).   These figures show that xenophobia is not an isolated problem or a series of misunderstandings, but a persistent and dangerous pattern that continues to place foreign nationals at risk (IOL, 2026; African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026).The Migrant Workers Voice Organisation further emphasises that migrants are not the cause of South Africa’s unemployment crisis or broader economic hardship. Government statements drawing on Statistics South Africa data have shown that foreign-born persons were twice as likely to be employed as locally born South Africans, with a foreign-born unemployment rate of 18.2% compared with 34% among locally born persons (IOL, 2026).   This evidence exposes the false narrative that migrants are “stealing jobs,” when in reality they are often participating in the labour market under highly vulnerable conditions. It is therefore unjust and dangerous to use migrants as scapegoats for deep-rooted structural economic challenges (IOL, 2026).The organisation stresses that the state has a duty to protect everyone within its borders, regardless of nationality, immigration status, or legal category. The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights has warned that xenophobic attacks and vigilante conduct against migrants violate the rights to equality, dignity, security, life, property, and freedom from discrimination under the African Charter (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026).   The Commission also called on the Government of South Africa to ensure that attacks are investigated, perpetrators are brought to justice, and political or community rhetoric that fuels division is restrained (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026). When authorities fail to act decisively against xenophobic attacks, they allow fear and impunity to grow, and they send a harmful message that violence against migrants is tolerable (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026).The organisation therefore calls on the South African government, law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and civil society to take immediate and concrete action to stop xenophobic violence, investigate and prosecute perpetrators, dismantle vigilante groups, and ensure the protection of migrants in vulnerable areas (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026). It also urges political and community leaders to refrain from inflammatory rhetoric that fuels division and to instead promote unity, coexistence, and shared responsibility. No society can thrive when one group is encouraged to see another as an enemy (African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026).  Speaking on behalf of the Migrant Workers Voice Organisation and the Federation of Ugandan Migrant Workers Associations (FUMWA), its President, Mr. Kayonde Abdallah, said the organisations stand in solidarity with all foreign nationals who have been affected by these attacks and reaffirm that migration is a reality of the modern world shaped by economic interdependence, displacement, and human aspiration. He said no country can survive in isolation, and no government should permit its citizens to commit violence against others under the guise of protest or nationalism.   According to him, xenophobia is not patriotism; it is a failure of humanity, a failure of leadership, and a direct attack on the principles that should protect every person (Migrant Workers' Voice, 2025; African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights, 2026; IMBISA, 2026).

Kololo High School Holds Inspiring Careers Day to Prepare Students for Future Careers

 KAMPALA – Kololo High School has successfully held its annual Careers Day, bringing together officials from the Ministry of Education and Sports, higher institutions of learning, technical and vocational training institutions, media professionals, teachers and students to help learners make informed career choices in line with Uganda’s Competency-Based Curriculum.The event provided students with an opportunity to interact with professionals from various fields and gain a better understanding of the academic pathways and careers available to them after completing secondary education. Speaking during the event, Henry Semakula, Principal Education Officer in charge of University Education and Training at the Ministry of Education and Sports, commended schools that have embraced career guidance initiatives.Semakula noted that it has been five years since the Government introduced the Competency-Based Curriculum, which emphasizes practical learning, critical thinking and helping learners choose subjects that align with their future careers.He said Careers Day activities are essential because they enable students to make informed decisions about their future while still in school.Semakula encouraged learners to remain focused on their studies, set clear career goals early in life and avoid distractions that could hinder their academic progress.The Headteacher of Kololo High School, Hajjat Aminah Mukasa Buyinza, described Careers Day as an important platform that helps learners discover their talents, understand different professions and make informed career choices. She also appreciated the Government and the Ministry of Education and Sports for introducing education reforms that equip learners with practical knowledge and skills.Students who attended the event welcomed the initiative, saying it broadened their understanding of career opportunities and inspired them to pursue their ambitions with confidence.The event also featured exhibitions by several technical and vocational institutions, including Bamunanika Technical Institute and Masulita Vocational Institute, which showcased hands-on training programmes available to students interested in technical education.Waguma Kisuule, a journalist with Radio Simba, encouraged learners interested in Journalism and Mass Communication to pursue the profession, highlighting the many opportunities within Uganda’s media industry and advising them on the dedication and skills required for success.Meanwhile, Deputy Headteacher Hakeem Sseviri said many learners at Kololo High School come from Kampala’s suburban communities and therefore require continuous mentorship, guidance and support to help them become responsible citizens who will contribute positively to Uganda’s development. The Careers Day reaffirmed Kololo High School’s commitment to nurturing students academically, personally and professionally by exposing them to diverse career opportunities and empowering them to make informed decisions about their future.

Government promises affected traders to receive their money soon

By Mutunzi Saul Following the flood incident in October last year, where many traders lost their goods, government promised to compensate them with Uganda Shillings 20 billion. However, since the directive by the President, the traders are yet to receive the compensation. Today, leaders have gathered in Kampala to pave ways to solve this.Addressing the gathering, the President of Federation of Uganda Traders Association (FUTA), John Kabanda, has confirmed that a total of 21 buildings such as Pentagon City, Premier Center, Capital Centre, Qualicel bus terminal, French Plaza, Nana, Ham shopping mall, block And B, Jesco beauty centre, Owino market , etc were affected by the floods and urged the responsible leaders to early the process.  "Am so happy that you have been able to be here. Mr. RCC, these are some of the traders who were affected by the floods last year in October. We therefore want to thank you for being there for us. As you all know, the president gave us Uganda Shillings 20 billion as compensation. Recently, promoters received their Uganda Shillings 7 billion. Am aware, you were planning something as traders, but please first hold on, because we are peacekeeping people. We promise you that you are going to receive your money", he said.  "As FUTA, we your money didn't return to the consolidated fund, and this was an order from above. Me as a person, I wasn't affected but as their leader, I had to do so. Everyone you see here Mr. RCC; was affected by the floods. So, we urge those who are supposed to sign on their final documents, to quicken the process. Over 2000 traders were affected. As RCC has said, we be patient to until the end of this month.", he added. Sesbagala Yusuf from Totala building, one of the traders who were affected pleaded to the leaders and explained how his house is about to be taken by the money lenders, since he can no longer work, to pay the earliers. Nalwada Rebecca and Nabuyuga Margaret, one of the women who were affected have also urged government to quicken the process.  Lule Mawuya, the Resident City Commissioner (RCC) for Kampala, in his address, he sympathised with the traders and asked for forgiveness for what happened recently, when the traders attacked the premises of the Minister for Kampala and Metropolitan Affairs.  "During the meeting at city hall, Security agencies told me that there are three different lists until they Harmonize. And by next week, I will be informing you. I promise you, by the end of this month, your issue should be settled. Good enough, the Uganda Shillings 20 billion is available and you are going to receive it. But those who never affected by the floods will not receive this money. I want to thank you for paying the revenue", he said.

Makerere University Unveils Strategic Plan 2025–2030 to Strengthen Global Research Leadership

 Kampala, Uganda | July 2, 2026Makerere University has officially launched its Strategic Plan 2025–2030, unveiling an ambitious roadmap that positions Uganda’s oldest and largest public university to deepen its contribution to national development while expanding its global research footprint. Launched under the theme, “Optimising the University’s Research Potential for National and Global Transformation,” the five-year strategy seeks to transform Makerere into an internationally competitive research-led university through increased investment in innovation, postgraduate education, technology transfer, and strategic partnerships. The plan builds on the gains made under the previous strategic framework and aligns with Uganda’s Fourth National Development Plan (NDP IV) and Vision 2040.   Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe described the strategic plan as a defining milestone in Makerere’s transformation journey. He said the University is entering a new phase focused on deepening research excellence, increasing international visibility, and generating knowledge that addresses Uganda’s development priorities while contributing solutions to global challenges. Prof. Nawangwe emphasized that the University is not reducing undergraduate admissions but instead significantly expanding postgraduate education, with postgraduate enrolment projected to double over the next five years. He noted that the strategy also prioritises greater investment in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), graduate research training, scholarly publications, innovation, intellectual property development, and stronger collaboration with industry and international institutions.   The Vice Chancellor further explained that internationalisation lies at the heart of the new strategy. Through stronger global research collaborations, increased publication in internationally recognised journals, expanded academic exchanges, and technology-driven innovation, Makerere aims to strengthen its position as one of Africa’s leading knowledge hubs. The University also intends to attract more international researchers, students, development partners and research funding while producing innovations capable of addressing regional and global challenges such as public health, climate change, food security, digital transformation and sustainable development.   The Guest of Honour, Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development Hon. Henry Musasizi, commended Makerere University for aligning its strategic priorities with Uganda’s national development agenda. He reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to supporting higher education, research, innovation and human capital development, noting that universities remain central to driving industrialisation, economic transformation and improving national competitiveness. Hon. Musasizi said investment in research and innovation is essential for creating home-grown solutions, improving productivity, generating employment opportunities and positioning Uganda to compete effectively in the global knowledge economy. He challenged universities to produce research that directly responds to national priorities while maintaining international standards of excellence.The Strategic Plan 2025–2030 outlines key priorities including enhancing teaching and learning, strengthening graduate training, expanding digital learning, increasing research productivity, commercialising innovation, improving governance and infrastructure, promoting financial sustainability, and building stronger partnerships with governments, industry, development agencies and global academic institutions.   The launch attracted government leaders, university management, members of Council, researchers, development partners, alumni, students and stakeholders from across the education sector, marking the beginning of a new chapter aimed at cementing Makerere University’s role as a leading centre of research, innovation and academic excellence in Africa and beyond.

Security Guard Committed to High Court for Trial Over Murder of TikToker Diana Skyz

 A former Gibeon Security Systems guard, Marvin Webisa, has been committed to the High Court for trial over the alleged murder of former Kyanja-based TikToker, Diana Namulinde.Webisa was committed on Wednesday by Nicholas Aisu at the City Hall Magistrates Court in Kampala after the court found that police and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions had completed investigations into the case. The accused is expected to face trial before the High Court on charges of murder, rape and aggravated robbery. The offences are capital in nature and fall under the jurisdiction of the High Court.During the committal proceedings, the prosecution presented an indictment summarising the evidence it intends to rely on during the trial and asked the court to commit Webisa to the High Court for hearing. With the committal completed, the case will now be forwarded to the High Court, where a judge will fix a date for the trial. Webisa will remain in custody pending further court proceedings.

Nation Media Group Leadership Meets Gen. Muhoozi as NTV Uganda, Daily Monitor Near Return

 The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has held a high-level meeting with the leadership of Nation Media Group (NMG) Uganda as discussions continue over the closure of the company’s media outlets.  The meeting took place at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe and focused on the ongoing suspension of NMG Uganda’s operations, including NTV Uganda and Daily Monitor.The NMG delegation was led by the company’s owner, Rostam Aziz, accompanied by his son, Saam Aziz. Also present was Georgia Mutagaywa, the Chief of Staff of Taarifa Limited, the parent organization of NMG Uganda.The engagement comes amid optimism that the affected media outlets could soon resume operations after the discussions with Gen. Muhoozi. While no official statement has yet confirmed the exact date for reopening, the meeting is being viewed as a significant step toward restoring normal operations.  The closure of NMG Uganda’s outlets has attracted widespread public interest, with many viewers and readers eagerly awaiting the return of NTV Uganda and the Daily Monitor.
